EVIDENCE-BASED ADVICE
For several years, the HAV Group has been a pioneer in the development of hydrogen-based energy systems for ships. As a result, we have special expertise in this area and can give customers evidence-based advice.
HAV Hydrogen has been contributor in the maritime hydrogen industry on both technical development and in the planning of hydrogen based value chain together with other stakeholders. We keep a close contact with all relevant suppliers on both maritime hydrogen components and hydrogen fuels.
Through the FreeCo2ast project we have built up a close cooperation with research institutions like Sintef Ocean and CMR Prototech and we are in cooperation with public and private funding solutions, industry cooperation clusters and ideal organizations and cooperation forums.
Extensive network
The extensive network gives us the advantage of quick and direct access to relevant competence and the ability to set up strong and functional projects for a market in early development.
HAV Hydrogen is a member of the Norwegian leading network for maritime hydrogen, Arena Ocean Hyway Cluster, and we are a part of HYDROGENi, a new centre for environment-friendly energy research (FME) dedicated to hydrogen and ammonia, where we will contribute to innovation of zero emission solutions for the maritime industry.
Advanced simulation
HAV have together with Sintef Ocean build up advanced simulation driven design tools in order to evaluate technologies and systems in a digital environment taking into account the actual ship operation, weather and loads. In this way we can provide accurate advice on choice of solutions before the systems are build.
We can now provide advice on the choice of various technical and financial solutions, in addition to developing and delivering hydrogen-based energy systems for ships.
